The Ask
Rent Buy Bash! (“RBB”) is devoted to leveling the playing field, among video game reviews. Today’s ratings market is very concerned with overall scores e.g. 3/5 stars. RBB thinks that’s not enough to make a fair judgement to compare a game with others because each game favors a certain aspect that appeals to particular players’ tastes.
The Solution
• We developed the breakdown scoring system so a user can rate games by their attributes.
• Laid the groundwork for an algorithm to recommend games based on how users rated other games
• Built mobile responsive website
• Tapped into gaming databases to pull games on a regular basis
