Sharp needed creative solutions fast. The CES show was rapidly approaching and they wanted to show off their new mega 90″ interactive television. At the same time they wanted to engage their online community on Facebook. Sharp hired a sketch artist to draw individuals and needed a way to post this information online in real time as the artist was creating, all while obtaining proper legal consent from the person.
The Solution
• An online web application accessible by an iPad for moderators to collect individual information and sign a consent form
• A custom native Windows OS application installed onto the television to copy a photo of the sketch and syndicate it into the web application
• A Facebook application that displayed the actual sketch of the individual on Facebook after their consent was formally given
